This document describes how Transsist actually works, and those parts are accurate. The highlighted passages below are commercial and legal details still being finalised:
Nothing else on this page is provisional. If a highlighted clause matters to your decision, ask us before buying and we will answer in writing.
Subject to this agreement, the Transsist business — whose registered legal entity is being finalised — grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Transsist desktop application on up to the number of devices your plan permits, for your own business or that of your employer.
Professional permits 2 simultaneously activated devices, Lifetime permits 3, and Enterprise permits the number agreed with you. Reinstalling on the same machine does not consume an additional device. You may release a device from your account and activate another in its place.
A Professional licence runs for its subscription term and renews unless cancelled. A Lifetime licence is perpetual for the major version it was bought for. An Enterprise licence runs for the term agreed with you.
The application activates against our licensing server and revalidates periodically. You agree not to interfere with, circumvent or falsify that process. It transmits only your licence key, your installation’s identity and basic technical metadata — see Privacy.
You own everything you create with the application, and it stays on your machine. We claim no rights over it and have no access to it.
Expiry, suspension, revocation or refund never deletes or withholds your data. Only new work intake — folder watching, scanning, job creation, adding files to jobs — pauses. Reading, editing, invoicing, exporting and backing up continue to work.
The application can connect to your mail provider, to Google or Microsoft for OAuth, and to the WhatsApp Cloud API, using credentials you supply. Those are your relationships with those providers, governed by their terms. The connections go directly from your machine and do not pass through us.
Updates are made available through your account. The application does not install them by itself. We are not obliged to provide updates indefinitely for a given major version.
The application and everything in it remains ours. This agreement licenses it; it does not sell it.
This licence ends if you materially breach it, in particular clause 5. On termination you must stop using the application. Your own data remains yours and on your machine.
The application is licensed as it is. We do not warrant that it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose, and you should keep your own backups — advice that holds for any software handling your livelihood.
The precise limitation of liability is being finalised with legal advice, since it depends on the jurisdiction below.
Being finalised. Ask us before buying if this matters to you.
