Permanently. It is installed on your machine and it does not expire, phone home for permission to run, or stop working because a subscription lapsed.
Every release in the first year is yours, included. New features, fixes, improvements — all of it.
After 12 months you can keep receiving updates for $49 a year, or not. Declining changes nothing about the software you already have.
To be completely clear: if you buy a Lifetime licence and never pay us another penny, the software keeps working. The update plan buys new versions, not permission to keep using the one you own.
